The Trimble® NAV-500™ guidance controller is compatible with all GFX series displays, and is notably well-suited to the GFX-350, creating an affordable professional-level system.

The device offers compatibility with multiple satellite constellations, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, and Galileo, and provides sub-metre accuracy. The NAV-500 also supports Trimble ViewPoint RTX™ corrections, although a subscription is required for this service.

The controller is designed with upgradeability in mind, and a range of licenses can be purchased to access additional features. These include roll-corrected manual guidance and satellite corrections such as ViewPoint RTX™, SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, MSAS) and SBAS +.

The NAV-900, delivered in Base Hardware mode, is a high-accuracy Guidance Controller complementary to the GFX series displays. For the GNSS position to become active, a Software Activation license is required.

This device is adaptable and can be enhanced with several purchased licenses for various GNSS and guidance features. These include CenterPoint® RTX, RangePoint® RTX, xFill® Premium, EZ-Steer®, EZ-Pilot®, Autopilot™ Motor Drive, CAN Autopilot, and External NAV III Autopilot support.

The NAV-900 also offers a variety of mounting options for convenience and versatility, including factory mount integration and a quick release mechanism for seamless transfer between vehicles.
